Most stock springs have some sag in them from years of use, new springs need to be driven some to settle them.
Hi John, not disagreeing with you but speaking from my very limited experience... :sign0020:

So far I have had my new Danchuk 'stock factory replacement regular duty' 5-leaf springs installed for almost a year and maybe 800 miles; they settled 1/4" within the first 48 hours...and that was it. I removed a leaf from each side and that was good for another 3/8".

Still too high for me, so I will be exploring other lowering options after the new year.
