Folks... while I love that movie and after 2.5 years I may need to acknowledge my limitations. Oddly, I have been able to wire the car, install a new engine and trans, install a new suspension, new dual exhausts, learn MIG welding and fix two floor panels and lots of other stuff. All good stuff for a guy that never worked on a car. But some things are just taking un-Godly amounts of time - 5+ hours to fix my electric fan. Turned out it should have taken 15 minutes (thanks Don and so may others who have helped through this site). The list of hours goes on and so does my frustration. I know it is part of the process and why I went this route. And I also learned to not add up the receipts
I am so close to being on the road with a safe car but so far away. I just can't get my TH350 linkage perfect, TV cable, reverse lights, horn, and a couple other small things. I guess I am looking for a reasonable place to take my car to get the last few things fixed so I can actually drive it. I live in Essex country but will drive to the right place. Thanks for the help.
