Hi everybody,
I am new to the forum, I like what I saw here and decided to join.
I'm from Cape Town, South Africa, and we are just getting over our FIFA 2010 World Cup hangovers. It really was a great party!!
I grew up with all things Chev, because my father raced stock cars (including '55 and '57 Chevys) for many, many years. He has since retired, and unfortunately I realised too late as I was growing up how scarce these cars were to become one day in South Africa. I would like to restore a '57 Chev one day. I'm looking forward to learning, and reading some interesting posts from this community, and hope to cotribute where I can.

Hello from South Africa

Hi Chooms,
Welome on this forum. Yes indeed you will benefit as I have. It is also encouraging to find a fellow South African on this Forum. I have been a member since last year and I have enjoyed ever since. I have a fully restored 1956 Chevy Bel Air Hardtop 4dr RHD which I received back this past Saturday.I live in Johannesburg and it will be a pleasure to meet as I often travel to Cape Town.
