Would like to add a rear shock crossmember to my 56 wagon frame. Looked at several pictures of shock crossmembers that have been installed with the body off the frame and they all look like an easy install. However, today I put my 56 wagon on the lift and found a pinion snubber and a bracket attached to the body located exactly where the crossmember would come across. Do I have to remove the pinion snubber bracket that is attached to the body to do the shock crossmember install? Wagon has 2 inch lowering blocks. Any and all advice appreciated.

Earle William Shock bar designed for Wagons, but can be used on any body style. Sits forward so it will not contact third member on lowered car.
I have 3" lowering Posie Super Slider Springs and 2" lowering blocks.
If you go to Monroe's Web Site and look at their list of shocks there are several different shocks that will work with Earle's Shock bar. You need to look for shocks that have an L1 mount on both ends.
