I know this issue has come up many times in the past. There seems to be different interpretations for the correct heater bypass routing when the heater is no longer used. I will be running a 283 cubic inch engine in my 55 Chevy Belair. It has 327 camel back heads. I will be installing the Edelbrock 4 barrel Endurashine intake manifold shown below. Here is my situation: I will not be using and installing the heater hoses from the engine to the firewall. With that said, what is the new and correct bypass hose routing, to ensure that the coolant flows in the right direction through the intake manifold and engine? Does anyone have the coolant flowing direction diagram for a SBC? Perhaps a picture with the correct hose routing would be awesome. Thank you for your support. Aloha, Tommy.
