Where does the angle gauge sit when trying to set the angles? I guess I could use the botton of the bellhousing for the transmission angle? What about the rear end? What do I reference from? I'm installing 1" lowering blocks in the rear and so it seems like a good time to check and correct the relationship if necessary. No problems that I see or feel, but I lowered the rear of the transmission 1/2" to clear the floor with a Tremec. So that had to change the angle a least a little bit.

I drilled my shims, they were soft alum. drilled them both at the same time.
