Just a question.....

Stock 05 GTO Mounts can they be used? or has anyone tried them? They look like they can be used on the motor and frame mounts can be fab'd.

what headers are you going to use? That may have an impact on your decision. 35 Bucks for freight is highway robbery though..............:vollkommenauf:

 

Those look similar to the Corvette engine brackets. I've used them on a C4 conversion, but don't know if they would work on a stock crossmember.

 

i was not sure of anything i just seen them for 20 buck and was wondering if they would work. the seller said the shipping was incorrect... has anybody used or seen them used on a tri 5??? 20 buck and it comes with the bracket and rubber mount. i figure i can fab up the frame mount for 20 buck and a few hours.

 

The rubber motor mounts are about $120 from the dealer. If I didn't already have a set I'd buy them for the rubber mounts. They're the same as the later corvettes.

 

Personally I think they're going to be too tall for a stock crossmember, especially with the rubber mount. But maybe someone has tried them. I used them with a shorter rubber biscuit from S&P.

 

They appear to be aluminum so you would have to bolt them to the frame. That would make it alot harder.
