Has anyone used a heat gun and scraper to remove paint on a whole car? I have seen some older posts and wonder if there is a more current opinion. I got the idea from a posting on autobody101 where someone did their car that way. I tried a small section on my car and it did come off - original plus 1 paint job and primer. It will need to still be cleaned up with at least a DA. It was certainly a lot cleaner than when I used sanding discs. I am staying away from chemical strippers for fear of screwing up the paint by not being able to clean it all up and also to avoid the fumes.
