just part of life in texas . a couple of weeks it will break and summer will be gone for the most part . i've already bailed and will likely get another cutting since we got some rain . as soon as it breaks i can start cutting firewood for winter. i work early mornings and around 2 i go into the build room to work. without the a/c i would just call it a day . years ago i just worked on through it but those days are gone. 10 days or so of 100+ is a mild summer.

i have suffered 2 heat strokes in my life. one minor and one where i passed out. luckily we lived on the lake and i was able to crawl into the water. cant risk another one especially at 64 . doc told me that when i feel hot it is time to go . we're all getting older so be careful out there. i figure the a/c in my shop cost me about 20 a month .
