I'm getting close to blasting and painting my firewall. What is this body sealer?

I hope I don't offend by hijacking this photo/post from another post but I am quoting this post to illustrate the water leak problem I am having and the area it is coming from. My 57 2 door post is leaking from this area to inside under the dash. I still have the fender on and, with a water hose, determined the leak is starting in the gap between the fender and windshield metal, basically the area shown in this photo of another member, and leaking through the seam inside the cab. This happens on the passenger side just slightly forward of the antenna. I have verified the antenna mount doesn't leak.
My question is can I seal the seams inside the cab to keep the water out or is there an additional area underneath this section where water will pool and cause more problems? I understand this question may be confusing but any input is appreciated.
