I never thought I would ever ask this question. Will mighty GM fail? I wonder how this will effect the value of the GM Classics, especially the ol TRI-FIVE's?
I have only one relative who works in a auto plant now. But there are three more who are retired, all who have some form of injury form the repetitive work they did for years. I'm in agreement that they should be taken care of healthwise. My sister left Jeep at twenty five an hour. But the new hires over the past five years, will only ever see eighteen. And there is no longer a retirement.I think the outsourcing got them also, the 30 year push to build overseas to take acvantaqge of the cheap labor, no health insurance and retirement cost, no environmental cost either. I feel for the auto workers, if you stand on your feet for 30 years on a job you should have retirement and health care.
