My right turn signal blinks but not the left. I figure the flasher is good or it wouldn't blink at all.... Is this correct?

Brake lights work. The indicator lights up but nothing flashes on the left side.

Does the rear turn light up but not blink? Check the dark blue wire in the connector on the inner fender near the core support.

 

Yes. The rear and front bulbs illuminate as does the indicator in the dash. I checked the connection at the core support but I can easily check it again. I will do that shortly and report back.

 

Dk blue wire has power on both sides when turn signal lever is in the left turn position. Any other ideas?

 

Make sure you have a good ground, and that the bulbs are good including correct orientation as there are two filaments.

Turned out to be the flasher. I replaced it with a new one from Ecklers and it works great now. :tu

I thought maybe too many right hand turns and the left hand blinker fluid leaked out. Glad you found the problem.

I was thinking something similar....
Maybe this car led a clandestine career in NASCAR and just plain wore out the left turn signal.

I have the same problem with my 55 F100.

Brake lights work, front l. works but l. rear does not.

The only thing that I think is that the contact in the sig. light switch must be bad.
