Checking out carpet. Who is the manufacturer I've read it's ACC is this true? Big price difference from resellers. Is this where Ciadella gets theirs? I would like a one piece for my 57 sedan. Any opinions about molded or cut and sewn? I would like daytona as my first choice it would be custom I know, loop is my second option if that's not available. thanks

Daytona is a cut and sewn product. I have yet to see a molded 1 piece Daytona. next the 1 piece don't fit well. the cut and sewn does. also the factory carpet left the area under the seat bare. if you want it carpeted tell them you want carpet for a bucket seat install.

Thanks for the reply! I thought the Daytona was only cut and sewn. I do want carpet under the seats. Do you have an opinion about ACC? Do you know where Ciadella gets their carpet? Appreciate the response!

Ciadella does their own cut and sewn datona carpet with their own special backing material, it is top notch and all that I have installed fit great. I have used ACC on trifives and other cars and find their mold shape is less than good fitting.

I have no complaints with ACC carpet other than there is a lot of trimming to do. Presently I am installing new seats in my 68 AMX two-seater. It was very challenging to install new carpet because of the exposed rear fender wells (ten hour job). See photo. I am very happy with the results and have another ACC carpet kit to install in my 73 Challenger. I also installed an ACC carpet kit in my 68 Camaro before I sold it. Again very happy with ACC.

Ciadella will make the daytona so it goes under the seat too.

Sounds like some have had a good experience with ACC and others have not! Still deciding which way to go thanks for the response guys.It may come down to the choice between Daytona or loop for me. My car is a 57 210 :) so the Daytona would be custom!

I believe with all the companies you will find some good and some bad reviews. I've had the worst possible product come from the groups favorite supplier and had to go through hell and high water to get a refund on a defective product.

I don't recall where my carpet came from but it's a cheaper two piece that goes under the seats. The way I use my car, driving it as I work on it, I wasn't going to pay a whole lot for carpet. I'd rather just replace it every 3 to 5 years. And actually the cheap carpet I have is holding up pretty well. I wish I could find them now, it only cost about $80. Fits pretty darn well, I have no complaints.
