Not dark green....But, I found it interesting to see this solid Neptune Green on a 55

I like it a lot. :):tu

I believe that's Neptune green, Pops
Thanks Jimmy....I realized that after I posted and changed it.

If mine wasn't already painted resale Red, I would consider it...However, I would compare it to Highland Green first.

First pic is pretty close to what I'm looking for!
My reason for asking is----
A lot of years ago,an older man lived down the road a ways and he had a 55 Bel Air 2 door sedan and a 55 Bel Air 2 door hardtop.
Both cars were the same color, had the same wheels (Crager mags).
I never saw him drive the cars, they always sat under his carport.
He could be seen out working on them most of the time though.
After a while, things changed and no more cars.
I drove by there yesterday and wondered about him.
My thought was,I never see green 55's anymore!

Funny!!
We were doing the exact same thing last week. :sign0020:

Couldn't find a dark green on google images that we liked. I did see a new Dodge pickup that was a "Moss" edition. That's what I thought I saw on an emblem at least. Looked black until the sun hit it then there was a green hue.
Looked at the 2017-2018 colors and didn't see it. Dodge also has a cool brown that looks black in the shade.

Trying to be a little different..

I like this one...I like the name on the second one smoking the tires. If I was to ever paint my 55 it might go green just because Im Green Onions Lol

When I was thinking of painting my 57 Highland Green I started looking for photos and struck out – they were not very popular. And I was considering solid not 2-tone. But I ended up finding one image, 2-tone, and did a Photoshop edit to see what it would look like, also with ivory roof. After seeing it I was sold on the solid. Looks good on any Tri5, I reckon.

There's a list of people who consider green cars as bad luck. Mario Andretti wouldn't even autograph a pic if it had a green car in it. One of the Chevrolet brothers died in a horrible race crash involving a green car. I think that's when that got started.
