Rubber plugs for 1/2" holes in new floor?

I have four holes in the floor of my '57 Nomad which are slightly less than 1/2" (15/32? maybe).. I think a 1/2 rubber plug would fit and seal these holes, but I cannot find anything. The floors in my Nomad are replacements (repros)... cargo area has 2 such holes, and the floor under the rear seat has 2 more.

Can anyone tell me where to find rubber plugs for these holes, or tell me how you sealed these holes??

PS. It aggravates me when people sell things for a specific purpose like plugging holes without a mention of what size hole it is for... :(

THANKS David... just received your documents (apparently from old CCCI magazine articles).. Just what I needed as confirmation of PN's for various plugs and grommets..

PS. If vendors, including Ecklers/Danchuk/etc, would simply put factual descriptions of their parts in their online catalogs, THAT would save us all a lot of effort/time, and save the vendors time/$money!

BamaNomad, you might pm 55wagoncrazy. I can’t say for the nomad, but at least on the sedan, there were at least two 1/2 holes that the factory cover d up by gluing cardboard squares over the holes. Mikey told me that when I did not know what to do with those holes. If they are the same on the nomad, ol55 east coast Chevy has some plugs to deal with those holes instead of the cardboard.

Hey Dragsix! :) if the factory used cardboard, then *anything* I might do would be at least as good.. :)

Actually Ecklers and Danchuk have plugs for those holes (they say), and I made them go measure them for verification, BUT... by the time you get those plugs to you (4 for $23 or so)... they are pretty expensive..!~ Maybe I'll just cement some rubber over those holes... would be better than cardboard! :)

PS. I'll probably just order another $100 of parts from Summit to save paying the shipping! (smart huh?) :)

Something I normally add to the pile, when I order a big ticket item.
