There's a car in my favorite junk yard that has perfect lower windshield trim....I need to get it for my '57 sedan....How do I remove it without ruining it?

i belive you pop the corners off with a screwdriver /philipps and it slides off ! be very careful

David take a phillips screwdriver and a ratchet with a long extension and a 7/16" socket, and also a pair of needle nose pliers or the correct tool to remove the wiper bezel nut. Pull the screws from the corner trim and then remove that piece. The remove the nuts from under the dash that hold those clips in place. Remove the wipers and the nuts that hold those bezels on. Then you should be able to gently lift up on the trim and slide it outwards.

Thanks Terry...Sounds like a good plan :tu

David the key to this is patience. Don`t jerk, pull, pry or otherwise put the trim in a bind or it will bend or crimp. Take your time and you`ll get it off in good shape.
