Body mount shims, are they just one thickness, is it expected if you need to overshim to lift body that you should be able to readjust the ddor back to correct alignment?

Pops: The tech notes reference four rubber strips to be put on frame yet I did not remove any from the frame and have seen no kit with these strips what is there use and where can I get them?
