Anyone have trouble getting parts,or long back orders at Ecklers? Over on the HAMB forum theres a post from one of their suppliers who is cutting them off for being 180 days behind with them.Hate to see yet another supply source in trouble,or stop selling to the little guy, but we all need to know if something is going to effect our projects getting finished.

Eckler's has been at the bottom of the barrel as a "go to" place for me to get parts for many years now.

They have way to many platforms to competently support under one roof.

Owned by an investment firm that is refusing to infuse money into the drowning company.......they cooked their own eggs for far to long.
Now there is nothing left. They don't make any of the parts they sell, and more than a few companies are cutting them off.

Anyone that expects a different outcome is nuts......

I ordered parts that were "available". Every few weeks I got a pending charge on my card that would then drop off. After 6 months I called, waited 56 minutes on hold hearing about what wonderful customer service they had. Talked to a rep who told me every so often they run the charge to see if the card if still valid. Whyen they actually ship the parts, the charge goes from pending to final. I canceled my order.

I just ordered a number of parts from Mark Brewer at Mutton Hollow...He has always been one of my dependable "go to" guys.

They handle 55-57 Chevy parts and do it well...Not a bunch of other carp like Eckler's..

My go-to places are Mutton Hollow, I5, Crazylights, H&H, and East Coast Chevy. Double Nickel for sheet metal since I pick it up in person. I get the Ecklers catalog from time to time, it just goes in the trash.

I was very pleased with the disc brake conversion I purchased from the old CCI before Eckler's took over. That was probably in the early 80's as I recall on the conversion. Was a member and enjoyed the monthly Classic Chevy magazine very much. After the new regime took over the reins the Classic Chevy mag became just so loaded with Eckler's and other vendor ads very little car and tech info remained. Dropped my membership and never looked back. Have not ordered anything from them in many years and don't intend to again. Have used H & H, Mutton Hollow and been quite happy with the results.

Ecklers buys parts from us and we have stopped shipping there orders until they pay us. It has been horrible lately to get them to pay us. I get calls everyday asking if I have parts in stock (because Ecklers won’t ship there orders) and I do. I am out of stock on close to 100 parts right now but I still have over 2,000 parts in stock.

Just confirms what has already been said. They are a dead company walking and living off their past.
