thought you all would get a kick out of this photo..This guy did this twice in one morning..showing off his near perfect 34 ...just after this photo I encouraged both of them to MOVE.......kids, dogs, idiots, nose pickers..etc etc...then a guy with a 10k paint job leans on your car...guess the polished patina is not for everybody..........hard to figure the lack of thinking here..the guy with the sun glasses knew!..comments welcomed....D

"whatta I care, It's not my car I'm leanin on!!" Seems to be the general concensis that happens at all car shows. Then they look at you like whats getting you all upset when you ask them to move. You just have to love the manners on todays idiots :sign0020:

I would have asked if he owned it and when he said no, I would have said well get the you know what off it.
Funny part about it is if you did it to his car he probably would have started a riot.
Maybe you should have got in his car he did leave the door open as an invitation, I bet he wouldnt have liked that.

No respect, I hate nothing more than people leaning on cars even if they own them no matter what they are.

I would rather the 56 anyway even if he didnt.

Lean on HIS car to show the other guy your car. :)
While my motto is "don't return evil with evil" I kinda see what you suggest as returning evil with a form of good this guy needs. Yep, lean on his and when he gets upset say "oh, I thought you would consider it alright to lean on your car since you think it alright to lean on mine. After all, the golden rule is 'do to others as you would have them do to you'.":)

YUP! I would have leaned on his right in front of him. Just walked right up and leaned on it right in his face. When he told me to get off his car I would have said "after you!" But then again I'm 6'1" and weight 230 lbs. An ex-biker (who still rides) with an attitude. Let's dance!

Don, there is always this for an answer. Ask that guy if you can excuse yourself to walk behind him and against the 55. As you do put your hand on the seat of his pants and yank a fistfull of jeans and belt skyward. Nothing like an ATOMIC WEDGIE to get your attention. After your description of your appearence I would suggest that only you try this one :sign0020::sign0020::tu

Oh Man, that looks like ORIGINAL paint too! I would have had a talk with him, maybe tried out that smoothie fiberglass running board with a size 14 boot. Also there's a pressure point on top of the forearm that while shaking hands you can............looks really innocent. Never mind.

Remember the Pharoah's in American Graffitti? So you know Gil, huh. Well, that his car you're sitting on. Geez I've seen that movie too many times.

Great looking and straight 56. Glad you schooled him, he deserved it.:flag6:Blake

Was looking for a place to vent regarding car show manners. This thread will do. My observations from my first full summer of taking a car to cruise nights:
#1) When I arrive, I park, pop my hood, then go for a stroll round the lot admiring the other cars, talking to guys, asking questions, etc. I'm a little surprised how many other guys park, throw up the chair, plop their butts down, and don't move the rest of the night. What?? ...No interest in what else might be there?? Is it all about them?? Egos?? Small-mineded? Anyway, very puzzling behavior for what are supposed to be inquisitive, curious "car guys".
#2) Just in case you're wondering why I may walk past your car, it might be because you parked, then set up 1 to 3 chairs directly in front of your car ..and as above, never move. How the heck can I admire your car or all your engine work if I can't get to the darn thing to see it? To me, it just says "Hey, look at me ..I'm the car owner!!" Duh! ..I figured that. I just walk on.
There, I said it, and I'm not taking it back.:)

Personally, I'd like it if they'd broadcast a CAR SHOW CODE OF CONDUCT over the speakers at car shows, for those in the dark. A lot of cars around here all post a "Do not touch" sign of one form or another. I guess if I ever get to that point, maybe I'll post something on the car.

To me the value of his car is irrevalent.....Respect is respect.....And your property deseserves just as much as his.....Lean on his exactly the same way....When he says: What are you doing? Say: Same as you my friend.:)
