Sound Deadener

I've used a product called "B-Quiet." Very similar to Dynamat, less money. They publish their test specs and the test specs they have done on Dynamat and the results are within tenths of a db. Human ear can't discern differences that small.

Down side is that in only comes in rolls 12 inches wide. They have a website I found on Google.

I used the Fatmat on the roof and sides of my Delivery. This stuff sticks! I wanted to pull and readjust once and it wasn't happening. It initially had a bit of smell to it once applied, but was soon gone.

We have just put the Lizardskin Insulation and Sound Control in the new limo. Was real easy to apply and we are really happy with the finish. Can't tell you whether it works or not yet.

Just curious, but if this product gets sprayed on, does it create a mess with overspray which always seems to find its way someplace it shouldn't, no matter how well you tape things off?

I used "FatMat" in my 55'. It went in very well and never smelled like asphalt. I even had one garage ask me if it was pre-molded!
