I have a CPP 500 box with headers Patriot or Summit they came with car NIB no paperwork. They fit tight, concensus is they have more clearence in some areas and less in other areas when compared to a 605. However car drivers much better with 600 box over 605.

 

The Borgeson and CPP boxes are the same size. The Williams BBC headers should clear them. It will be tight though.

Thanks guys for the info. One final question…
Relative to my 605 box, will the new box change the height of my steering column or force it further in or out of the firewall. My Ididit column barely pokes through the firewall. The bottom of it is actually about 1/4 inch inside. I realize my body may be mounted ahead of some.

 

The CPP 500 box is an exact copy of the 605 as far as where the input shaft is and it also has the same splines. The Borgeson box is very close but it has a "double D" input shaft - so you'll need a different rag joint.
