Anyone using Firefox as their browser? I have a couple of questions, I just started using it. So far I like it I think. I was just having too much trouble with Explorer.

I remember seeing a post about it. I downloaded the 4.0 version and it's way faster than the IE. Okay a couple of questions: first why can I not find a favorites tab? any ideas? Second Any reason to keep IE? should I just leave it alone or uninstall it? Thanks guys

hit 57 there is no favorite tab when you nav to a site you like right click the mouse hit bookmark when it pops up page book marked hit done and when you want to go back to the site hit bookmarks in the top tool bar go to recently bookmarked and hit the site you want to go to,or just scan down the bookmarks that are below the recently bookmarked line and hit which ever one you want to navigate to or you can go to most visited in the top toolbar and nav from there, and leave ie on your computer there are some prograns that will not work without it in the c drive, besides more then one browser is just fine i have 3 firefox , google chrome [which is very quick] and ie no problems[by the way i have xp pro] and i am not sure what you guys use in the states hope this helped

Ok I got the bookmarks figured out and got it on a sidebar. Just takes time at first to figure it out. Thanks again guys. It is faster than IE and the color seems better.

Hi there, this doesn't answer your question but I used to use Firefox, but found that some sites (banks esp.) did not recognize it, so have now switched over to Google Chrome. It is better in respect of everyone recognizing it, and to boot it is definitely much faster to use.
cheers Russell

I agree, pages load much faster with Chrome, it is very streamlined. I use it 99% of the time. There is one page I go to occasionally that the frames do not work right with Chrome, then I go back to Firefox. I use IE at work, but only because I don't have choice.

Yep, use it all the time and have lots of cool Add-ons.

Several sites perform much better for me with Firefox vs. IE.
I know you can tweak IE, but why bother?
