Door latch release rods

On a 55 4 door wagon, I am looking for the door handle to lock mechanism rod (inside handle). I can't find anything specific for a wagon. Is it the same as a 4 dr sedan?

The 4 door sedan rods I have found use a small clip on each end for retention. Mine has a double bend on each end with no clips. Is the clip idea a replacement thing?

They should be the same, because the door is the same on the inside. The special clips are more of an anti-rattle thing, but do prevent the rod from comming loose when being installed.

If you need the rods and clips, I have them used

Thanks Mikey. I have some old doors here somewhere I will look at. The rod is still here, but one end is starting to get a groove in it, after only 60+ years.....I guess the drivers doors see most of the action.

I will let you know if I need lone.
