Merry Christmas team. Apparently there a set of Dougs headers that WILL work
and not require removal off stock rear motor mounts. I have a new rebuilt 327, CPP P/S, , 4- speed trans etc etc. This is from the guys at Old 55 Chev in PA. Any thoughts on this and any one used these. Thanks

What part number might you be referring to?

1-5/8 primary. 3” collector.
Their catalog # is similar to 27-D353
You looking for 3/4 or full length and is your car stock height or lowered?

The Hedman 68128 are full length with 1-5/8" tubes with 3" collectors and will fit with CPP500 and 4spd trans and no need to remove the rear mounts. I have installed them on 2 customers cars with 500 box and 4spd trans as well as rear mounts (engine stock location) with no clearance problems. They do hang below the frame some as all full length headers will do when keeping the rear mounts. They also have the best warrantee on the coating. Shop around for pricing, There are deals to be found.
