looking over my frame under the body I would like to plug all of the factory holes. Thinking about using black rubber plugs and pushing them in flush with the outside frame rail. Don't want to weld because the body and frame are together and painted. What do you think? Does anyone sell plugs for allof the different size holes? Frame is a two piece style.

Hardware store would be your best shot there all different sizes :anim_25:

Will this cause excessive rust? Trapping moisture inside the frame.

There are other openings that you will not be able to plug. Those holes haven't caused any problems over the past 65 years but once you get an idea like that you feel you need to go for it. That leads to some pretty good ideas at times.
