Overwhelmed is an understatement. I’ve decided to install headers, for audible pleasure, as well as a stage 2 cam into my Ls. Now, I’m also adding Ridetech Air Ride, A/C, front disc brake conversion (CPP), and going with the CPP 500 series gear box. Also, looking to keep column shift with my automatic. I’ve referred to the header chart, but I’m just not sure what header to go with. I’m sure someone else has done a swap similar to mine, so any help, what you installed, didn’t like, was a hassle, etc, would be appreciated. I’m assuming I need a shorty header due to my air ride, for clearance. TIA!

I just removed a set of mid length Patriot headers they worked fine but I did have to ding the #3 tube to clear the 500 box on my 56 with LS stroker I'm installing Hooker 2292- HKR long tubes which are the temporary painted headers The 2292-1HKR is the same header only in a coated version. They have better clearance to the steering box & as far as I can tell will work fine with my column shifted 4l65e.I currently have them out being coated after adding V band clamps to the collectors. The Patriots & a set of down pipes are listed in the classifieds.
