I just bought a used wiper motor. I believe it is the 55/56 type, because it has the squared upper left corner, rather than the curved. I've looked at the manuals online but they are a bit blurry. I had a vacuum motor that finally quit so I am replacing it with this electric.
What is the best place to hook the main wire coming out of the motor? It is thicker than I thought it would be.
There seems to be a ground wire hooked to the arm that rotates. I cannot find (though I haven't looked under my car yet because it's snowing) where this wire would mount and the pictures don't clearly illustrate it.
I believe the white plastic piece the switch mounts to may be broken. Does anyone have a clear picture of how this mounts? If this is a 55/56 wiper motor, will I need to replace the white plastic piece with a '57 piece, or were these the same?
It would be very helpful if anyone has a close up picture of their motor.
Thanks,
Brandon
