LS engine with "stock" look

I remember seeing some engine bay pics of LS engine installs. One appeared so close to stock that some people thought it was a carb's LS engine when in fact it was injected, but had a factory looking intake and air cleaner. I am thinking about going for this look, but can't find the pics. Does anyone remember that post or does anyone know who's engine that is? Does anyone else have pics of their engine bay with a stock look? (valve covers, aluminum intake, oil bath style air cleaner...)
Thanks!

You can relocate the coils down lower on the block and use any valve cover you want to use, may need an adapter.

What you're looking for is a carb intake, running a FI Throttle Body on top, vs the throttle body being in front.

For example, here's a Intake

It doesn't show the injector boss's drilled for injectors, but that's the type of intake you would use.

Here's a Throttle Body

Sans the additional wiring and injectors you'll need to creatively hide, this would allow you to have a period look.

The engine linked above is actually carb'ed motor.

Maybe some thing like this

And SBC coil covers

I never sen the orginal Oil bather air cleaner run. I know I wouldn't want to run it, perhaps you could make some that looks like it as pictured in the link in post 3
