CHEVYNUT, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHERE ALL THE CLIPS ARE PLACED TO BE SURE ITS PROPERLY SECURED. I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SEE HOW TO CORRECTLY INSTALL THE WEATHER STRIPS TO THE TAIL AND LIFT GATES. THANKS, ARNIE.
I just checked the 56 assembly manual supplement and it doesn't have any pics of the clips. I assume you're talking about the "forked" clips that hold the weatherstrip down.
HOw about posting a picture. I don't know of any "angle brackets" that have anything to do with weatherstrip. 56madmook is one of the Nomad experts here....here's his website. He makes some really nice parts, and has used parts to sell too.
tailgate has some fork clips and the rubber has white little push clips that go into holes all around the tailgate. the liftgate is a different story. they are held in by two stainless retainers on the vertical trim of the jamb then a long roofline piece. i reproduce the vertical pieces, and am working on the roofline piece.
you can email me if you have any other specific questions regarding your nomad.
