I know that you have to phase the steering U joints . I am changing one u
joint to a double, because the angle is to tight.
So I got a Uni-steer 8050910 & was going to use my lower Flaming River FR1759DD .The problem is that the U joints are out of phase , I guess because two different brands of U joints .
Has anybody run into this?
Will it be OK Or can I use them, since I am using a DOUBLE u joint & support bearing ?
It is a Jim Meyers racing front end.

I think if you have phasing problems, they will be best solved by using splined shafts and splined u-joints, as the only way to fix it is to have non-90°/180° indexing of the joints. The places that sell those kind of parts should have some technical assistance to help you.
