Hey guys,

Not quite sure if I am posting this in the right spot or not.

I was wondering if you can install a Professional Products Powerfire I
distributor to an MSD 6AL box? The Powerfire I is a "ready to run" distributor that needs an external coil and on the website it says can be hooked up to an aftermarket module. I was over on their forum and I was told by a mod that you cannot hook it up to an MSD box but that u would need to upgrade to a two wire distributor to do that. I do not know who to believe... hoping trifive users can set me straight. Thanks!

throw Chinese distributor in trash and get an msd. or even a stock points distributor will run the msd box. the prof prod stuff is problem ridden.

Thanks guys... I am aching to get this thing on the road.

I live in Milwaukee, WI and the Car Craft Summer Nationals are literally 3 miles away from my house... and i'm going to be kicking myself in July if the wagon is still sitting in the garage. :bowtier:
