Rear shock bar mounting instructions?

Hello,

I purchased a rear shock bar and it came with no mounting instructions. I test-fit the bar and it fits between my frame rails snugly, which is perfect. The issue is that I don't know exactly where to mount the thing.

Should it go directly beneath the holes in the body originally intended for mounting shocks? If so, how much clearance do I need between the bar and the body for the new shocks?

As always, any help is appreciated.

Hey Thanks Pop's! My new shock bar from CPP arrived just yesterday and I'll be needing those instructions as well!!!

They are a real pain to put in with the body on. I finally got mine bolted in & when I had my exhaust put on I had the guy weld them in. Now if you have a lift it would definitely be a lot easier. Van:gba:

Rear Shock Bar

I just installed my shock bar Saturday and lined it up with the existing body holes. My welding isn't the best so i didn't post pictures. When i saw the trunk was cracking near the floor mount i decided it was time to get a bar install. Also a 25 gallon tank at the same time on my back in 105 temps fun wow!
