Many Thanks for the Condolences

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their heartfelt condolences. As a pet owner of two other pups I still get plenty of attention from the other two. All of our dogs have been rescued from one issue or another and we love them dearly.

We got Peyton's ashes back today. Kinda strange to think a 70 lb dog can fit into that little box. We will take her back to Arkansas when the opportunity presents itself and give her a good resting place.

God's Blessings to all,

Nick

We had to put our 15 year old Lab to sleep this morning. She has been a grand companion. She joins Harley and ******* at the Rainbow Bridge. Rest well ol' girl.
Very sad to hear of the passing of your friend, Nick! I know that you will see her again one day.

We have recently lost one of our furry family members as well. And within a fortnight, G-d sent us a new kitten to take care of. He's my best buddy and we are inseparable.

We now have 5 cats and 2 Rottis. Baby Cat is very fond of Benny, our smaller Rotti. He thinks Benny is the biggest, bestest cat buddy he has ever seen and when he isn't jumping up into my arms for some nose nuzzles and a snooze, Baby Cat crawls up between Benny's forepaws, lays his head on one of Benny's paws and goes to sleep.

G-d bless,

Harry

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

So sorry to hear of Peyton's passing. I'm certain you gave her a great 15 years as well as her for you. Keep her in your heart and she will never be truly gone.

We had to have our 15 year old Schipperke mix, Misty, put down in August. She was the best dog I've ever known and she will be sorely missed. I cried for weeks and I am tearing up right now typing this. We will rescue another couple of dogs in the near future. I still wait for her to come pushing into the bedroom and jump up on the bed with us.
