I am still hopeful this can be rectified but as I paid for these parts in September I am not sure this will happen. I bought and paid for around $3500 dollars of parts from what I thought was a good TrI 5 sponsor!
I bought valve covers,a serpentine pulley system. water pump, vintage air, chrome alternater, power sterring plus a bunch of other parts !! I recieved alot of the parts but the valve covers are anidozed and none of them match and they have pin holes in the top? These are billit so I dont know how this could happen, maybe the anodizing process?? the compressor is polished not chrome as I wanted and i still dont have the alternator even though I was prommised it shipped 3-4 weeks ago, Steam line is short a banjo fitting, the blower shaft is to short for the application and they are apperently building one the proper lenght but I havent heard anything on this for weeks. I am only out several hundred dollars of parts so not as bad as when he had 3 -4 K of my money!! I you want to know the name of this vendor just drop me a PM and I will let you know who it is. I want to give him the oppertunity to fix this before I printing the company name.
I have been working with a of other sponsers on this site and they have been outstanding and understanding helping me move forward and I will continue to buy from them!
Like I said Pm me and I will let you know what vendor this is.

Thanks Bruce

I think I can guess who it is.

I always recommend buying direct from Vintage Air or a local dealer, if you have one.

And if you buy from Summit Racing, they will pay return freight on defective items, including valve covers with poor finish, porosity, etc.

For steering parts, I'd recommend Steve at Authentic Automotive. All he does is old Chevy steering.

What's a steam line? And when you say "blower shaft", does your engine have a blower? If so, could that be causing shipment delays?

The steam line is on the front of the LS2 motor! Top and front of each head.
I would love to know what the delays are but he wont return any of my calls or email!! I has a guy call from a different area code and he returned his call but hung up on him when he questioned him about not returning my calls!

As far as the parts they are billit not cast but i dont know how the pin hole came about!! These are cheep parts they are a 2 piece valve cover that hide the coil packs!

Might as well come out with it then.

You can still keep us updated it you get everything resolved.

Bruce, we appreciate your sharing your terrible experience so we can avoid future problems. I sure hope in the end the vendor follows through and eventually you receive everything you paid for. Got to know...who is the jerk that is being so troublesome?

PM sent so you can reply privately.

GIVE US A NAME .

I'm ordering a whack of parts too , right now , and it sure doesn't help when this vendor's name is kept a secret . Let's cut the **** and share the info , the bad as well as the good . How could their customer service get WORSE at this point ? With enough press and naming names , the pressure is put on the vendor to clean up their act . Up till now , you're protecting this vendor and leaving the rest of the members vulnerable ; stop covering for these dirtbags . I'm holding off ordering anything else till I know who and where this vendor is ; I'll phone them and tell them where to look , to see what we all think of them . Let's grow some ***** here ; this is a huge industry , and there's a recession on . Now I need a nap . Bob

I hate seeing threads like this... I hope this all works out for you. If there is any thing we can do to help let us know
Love that calendar in your "featured products" section.:tu

I think we need to preview at least another 5-6 months.

As an onsite vendor and local Hotrod Muscle car shop I see it only fair to share the bad with the good there are far too many of us honest vendors for this to go on. All this does is shy people away from doing what they love.

Since it's not a TriFive sponsor, I think there is no reason to hold the information back.
But, he said he will tell you if you PM him. So, I don't see it as ****. PM him before you order your stuff.
