2" round pipe or 2x2 tubing? I have to make a couple of this around the shop and was going to fab them up. I figure weight that has to be lifted 1000# max.

what's stronger
I'm thinking of a aframe and rotisery. I have a scrap iron place near me and thought if they have some used stuff to save money that's the way I'd go. just want to be sure on the strength. I'm thinking 2".
