There is some nasty bugs running around currently. We have the H1N1 flu bug back and it is killing people mostly under 50. With the weather y'all have been having i would stay inside and warm.

Me too Mickey, but only for a couple days so far. I have to shovel snow and work, not retired yet. Get well buddy. I think the whole country is going to go thru this cold thing.

Yeah, Dixie has had it all weekend too. Been sleeping a lot.
Had a low grade fever, but seems to have broke now.

I've been lucky (knock on wood) so far but my bus kids are always coughing and snotting around so there's always a chance to pick up some kind of bug... So far my flu shot has paid off... Get lots of rest... Later, Dave

I went in for my physical two weeks ago. Told the Doc I was going on a cruise Feb. 15th. and was worried about all the stories about the Norovirus on the cruise ships. He said that Westchester County NY is near epidemic with the Norovirus so he said just go and hope for the best. Wash your hands a lot he said!. I got my Flu shot in October and got the shingles shot when I got my physical. Feeling great but I'm leaving in 2 weeks, wish me luck!

Yesterday I was working on the Nomad when a man stopped to talk about the car.1st thing he did when he got out of his car was stick out his hand to shake mine.I shook his hand before I thought about it..Then he told me that he just got back from New York and brought a bad cold back with him.
I really wanted to slap him.:secruity:

Mickey, I'll tell you the same thing I'd tell my family members...... Its time to go in and see the doctor. Don't mess around with this stuff. It can be deadly.
