It's already turning out to be an easier job than the first time.

I'm doing a AAW classic update kit on y 55 now. Just hid the front lights wires under the left fender. Running a lot of the wires in woven split loom. Looks so much better than the plastic stuff.

Your before pic looks great compared to my before pic. Mine was a fire waiting to happen.

It’s amazing what you can fix the second time around. Especially if you have more experience and age under the seat.

Lots of progress today, but nothing pretty enough to take photos of. The rear of the car is wired, except for the reverse lights because I need some grommets. Front lights are wired (but not connected until I can get plugs to go exit engine bay in those three areas. Gauge cluster is wired, but all those little purchases I’ve been putting off have finally caught up to me: indicator lenses, gauge lenses, speedometer screws (I don’t know how I’ve lost them all). Ran into trouble in the engine bay: one of the nuts on the starter solenoid spins and can’t be removed. That, plus I don’t have a way to crimp the larger cables, meant it was time to call it for the day.

Now, I’m off to buy so parts and tools. Hopefully I’ll remember everything I need

I put waterproof bulk connectors for all big items, like gauge cluster and lights,
