Lokar also really no choice with a LS cable throttle body but it's expensive for all there is to it.The original linkage works fine with all sorts of carburetors though.Ive used the original style linkage with single Holley BB tri power & BB tunnel ram set ups with modifications.

I was just curious. PO butchered up my original linkage so gotta do something . That's why I was thinking how to attach a cable setup to the original pedal arm coming through the firewall.

Not so common anymore but 70's era Camaro gas pedal assemblies with cable will work in most anything.

I prefer this pedal. for a couple of reasons. One it offers the furthest forward mounting to give tall folk like myself some much needed leg room. It also offers a adjustable ratio.
This is the cable I have used on the last few carbed builds

A lot of money? I am not sure how much difference in costs or quality is acceptable to you. Saving 50 or 75 bucks on a part that you are in contact at all times while you drive should be a consideration to a anyone with a little common sense.
I endorsed this product based on using it, it is on 2 of my own personal vehicles so I paid my own money, not just my clients.
222 Bucks for these is not that much money considering the build quality

I also installed that style in my HT. They do work well but are more difficult to install.
If I can find a product that works just as well as the "name brand", for half the price, that is usually the one I buy, because I DO have common sense.

Never mind, I found one from Summit that looks exactly like the Lokar for $69... I have never used it but it does appear to offer the same design. I do not know if Lokar are a domestic part or built in Asia like the Summit piece.

David, that is the pedestal style mount, they do not let the peddle rest tight against the toe board like the unit I showed. They also have some weird pedal angles that just are not comfortable for folks over 6' tall like many of us.not the same design, but easier to install and works well.....

If that is the style you prefer, great. I was asked what I use and told the poster the truth based on experience. I am sure you have experience too. I assume you are using this style in your car so it must be a good option as well.
