With the rain continuing and more of same in forecast we are calling it a rained out feature and heading for home shortly. Sorry more didn't get to try the Forge Brew but you know crap happens. Guess I'll just have to eat jerky all the way home.

Regret it didn't turn out better for you Roger.....I hope too many are not headed home.....We'll still be here....Hoping to still get a good turn out for the BBQ tonight......Have our cottage rented until Wednesday.......Lots more for us to do up here, besides the car show. :)

It started raining on us going to Pigeon Forge about a third of the way into the trip. Marguerite ask if I wanted to turn around. I said no,were going on and I'm glad we did. It rained off & on the whole time but we had time in between showers and it was a great experience meeting such a good group of people. We will try to do it again next year. 525 miles round trip, probably 400 raining. My raingear wipers met the task headon. Nothing like driving in the great smokies in a down pour with dense fog on I-40.

Well Roger, all I can say is you missed out. We set up a couple canopies Saturday morning during a lull in the rain and huddled underneath with our chairs and had a great time.
Something was missing though...some home brew and beef jerky... would have hit the spot.:sign0020:
Dixie and me, Bobby (smooth56) his wife, Starr, Blake (B/MP), his wife Margaret, Joe (Bamaboywoody), his wife Margaret, David C, his wife Pat, Troy (GREEN56), his brother Scott and his friend (sorry can't remember his name), Mickey and several others that came and went.
Dwight (dead carney) and his wife Lisa had their dogs with them, so didn't come over to the tent to stay long.
It was a little wet, but it was great telling stories back and forth, laughing and becoming really close friends jostling for positions under the tents to stay out of the rain.
One of the best times we've had at this event, believe it or not, in spite of the rain.

Wanted to let you guys and girls know how much me and my wife Pat enjoyed the PF weekend. We met friends from last year and a few new ones this year. Thanks to Blake and wife Margaret for the use of the 2 EZ-UP canopies that we shared. Had a great time getting to talk to the other members and friends of Tri-Five.com. A big Thanks to David (POPS), for organizing the dinner at Tony Gore's BBQ. It was delicious, and we felt like we were at a family reunion. We only go to a few shows a year, and this one is at the top of our list. A really GREAT group of people. See ya'll next year!

I think this was the biggest bowtie-trifive member turnouts yet at Pigeon Forge.
We may need a couple more canopy tents next year. We could have used at least one more this year.
Let's see...
