Self Made Hazard Harness

Attached is a harness I just made up.
It hooks together the turn signal system, the hazard warning system and the stop lights.
I just need to plug in the wires to the actual lights and the 2 flashers.
Might interest someone. The connectors are just 5 slot relay connectors.

Looks cool John.....Got a diagram for it that you can post?

The switch is from a Convair 240 cockpit that I rewired for a CV-600 turboprop
conversion at Texas International Airlines. I have tons of those type switches. they were relatively new when removed.
The stop(brake) lamps work through the white wire in the turn signal switch.

I will make a diagram. I have 2 or 3 that I need to combine into one.

I know this is an old thread however was there any advancement on the wiring diagram you mad for this harness & conversion??
Did you adapt for std column and wiring or an ididit/flaming river column? Would be good to know. I plan on doing something the same..Thanks.

Old thread brought up yet again. If I use a single pole switch with the flasher power going to one side, and three diodes on the other side that go to the brake light switch, the left front turn signal, and the right front turn signal. Will that work? Diodes go with the line end away from the switch. Only thing I don't like is getting diodes rated higher in amperage than the fuse in the circuit, just in case you short one out that it blows the fuse and not the diode.

Hmm, I must have a 3 or 4 pole switch here somewhere.

The flasher is not fused with original wiring. The flasher acts as a fuse. If you have LED lights, you need to add a fuse, because a LED flasher won't stay open when shorted out. You will need 4 diodes with a single pole switch and have to tie in to the seperate brake light wires after the turn signal switch, and yes, the brake light switch will over ride the flashing to the brake lights so they stay on solid.
